I’m Amy - owner of Amy’s Vintage Teas!
I started my collection of pretty vintage china back in 2013. My initial idea was to hire out the crockery for weddings and events but after some market research led me to realise the massive gap in the market for the afternoon tea experience to be brought into the home – Amy’s Vintage Teas was born!
Being one of the first businesses to introduce the concept of having afternoon tea delivered we are very proud of how we have grown and adapted (and survived covid!) over nearly a decade in business.
What started out as providing small tea parties for 8-10 guests in their homes soon led to us being booked for larger parties, weddings and corporate events catering for up to 250 people.
We have built up a fantastic reputation in Northamptonshire and beyond as being a trusted, high-quality caterer providing the best looking and tasting afternoon teas around!
Fast forward to 2019….
“Alone we can only do so little: together we can do so much”
I met Gemma from The Copper Kitchen in 2019. Gemma began supplying us with sweet and savoury bakes for our afternoon tea parties and events. It soon became clear that both Gemma and myself were on a very similar business journey and shared the same drive, passion and creativity in our work. In 2020 we decided to merge the two businesses and work in partnership for all our catering events.
With many years of experience between us creating bespoke cakes, afternoon teas and catering for events big and small- you can trust us to create a truly memorable event with every little detail considered making your special occasion one to remember!
